Coaching is no longer considered an optional program in most organizations. The Training Mag reveals that 50% to 70% of organizations consistently rate coaching as a critical program due to its effect on employee learning, performance management, and engagement. As such, about half of organizations already provide managers with guidelines for effective coaching and include coaching as a permanent part of managers’ job descriptions.

ort is the first step in any 5S process. The term sort derives originally from the Japanese word “Seiri” which means decide what you need. When you sort, the goal is to remove unnecessary items from the room, station, or space you live or work. Then, you would be ready to carry out the other four steps.
‘Seiketsu,’ or Japanese for “standardizing,” is the fourth step in the 5S process. Now that you know what you need, where to store it and how to maintain it, make it official! This stage builds on the idea of sharing best practices, auditing and checking in on 5S efforts with regularity. By standardizing the approach to 5S, organizational efforts are sustained in the long run by everyone, everywhere.
